STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Overview
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
Registration: Professional Engineering registration is a must.
Experience: 10 plus years of relevant industrial experience preferred.
Responsibilities

Perform field work necessary to gather data, check drawings, and provide construction support.

Mentor Structural Engineers and facilitate a holistic understanding as to the scope and plan for projects.

Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and develop steps for their proper execution.

Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.

Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges.

Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.

Produce detail design calculations, drawings, and sketches.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.

Active PE License is a must.

Experience developing schematics for structures in accordance with client specifications and safety standards.

Project development and leadership skills are preferred.

Professional work experience in developing designs for proposed structures.

Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems.
-
Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.

Up to date understanding of best practices regarding building safety measures.
