SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Overview
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Registration: Professional Engineering Registration preferred.
Experience: 7 years of relevant industry experience required.
Responsibilities

Perform field investigations to gather information and data.

Perform unit operations process simulations as required.

Develop, verify, and update PFD's, Material and Energy Balances, and P&ID's.

Perform, evaluate, and validate PSV's calculations and documentation.

Participate as a leader or team member in Process Hazard Analyses.

Assist engineering and design project teams with the determination and verification of process data, including initial development of mechanical equipment data sheets and instrument data sheets.

Provide input on materials of construction of equipment and design/sizing of hydraulic systems (pumps, piping line sizing, etc.)

Work as an active member of project management teams to monitor project progress to enable effective project execution.

Assist with the development of commercial proposals for the performance of engineering and design projects
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited Engineering College or University is required.

An active Professional Engineering registration is preferred.

At least seven years of relevant experience in industry and/or engineering consulting is required.

Experience participating on major capital project teams in a Process Engineering role is preferred.

Experience serving in a leadership role related to project definition, development, and execution is preferred.
